🐕Sometimes the Best View Comes From Under the Kitchen Table
Sometimes we miss the beauty of life, not because it isn’t there, but because we’re too busy insisting it should look a certain way.
Under the table, you don’t demand a view.
You receive it. Crumbs and all.
The world is simple. Life is simple. And we make it complicated by our own refusal to accept it as it is.
— The Courage to Be Disliked
Life doesn’t have to meet your expectations to be beautiful. In fact, sometimes when you stop fighting reality, you realize the whole thing is kind of magical — even when it’s imperfect, lopsided, or covered in toast crumbs.
So maybe, just maybe, today’s best view isn’t at the top of the mountain.
Maybe it’s at eye-level with the dog bowl. 🐾
Now, if you’ll excuse me, someone just dropped a slice of cheddar.
